Have now stayed at the Manor House Hotel six times each time staying just overnight. The rooms are spotless and the bathrooms contain toiletries by Molton Brown which can be purchased at the reception my Wife treated me to a gift set.We prefer to have a room on the back overlooking the garden and away from the traffic. After reading so many favourable reviews I was worried that my expectations maybe too high, however I was not disappointed and could not of wished to of stayed anywhere else for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. What a terrible shame. Beautifully refurbished following the 2007 floods. However, I was disgusted to be charged a £2.50 handling charge when paying by Mastercard. Food acceptable, but grossly overpriced. Service slow. Living locally, we would advise there is far better value in the area at similar establishments. more
