Great start of the ski season ! A lot of snow and a beautiful location. The hotel is right in the center of the town, walking distance from the shops, the ski slopes and from the main entertainments. Champlas Janvier is a small hamlet just outside the busy winter resort of Sestriere with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant (see picture) doesn't even have a sign but it's very nicely decorated inside, in an Alpine theme reflecting the building and the area. After visiting Sestriere and inpaticularly the "Hotel Du Col" in March 2008 all I can say is that we had a great time. I'll start with the Hotel.
