When people visit Hawaii, they will go to Oahu, Maui, Kauai, or the Big Island. Molokai is in the Hawaiian island chain but people rarely go there except for a few adventurous souls. Molokai will either drive you stir crazy because you might feel there is nothing to do or you will fall in love with her because there is... more

Never even a good restaurant; by any reasonable standards, it has now gone down hill (and approaching the bottom). Folks go here for the music and the atmosphere but they're driving them away in droves now. In the worst economy in the recent history of Hawaii tourism this outfit has decided to increase prices and cut corners. The prime rib... more

Aloha~ We had several meals at the Cookhouse and found it to be the most delightful food at reasonable prices anywhere on the island. I think if you read the other reviews posted here you'll get a good idea of what I mean. The Cookhouse crew has it down. From our waiter to the chef, it was all very good.... more

I spent two weeks in May 2008 at 121 Ke Nani Kai. Absolutely loved it!!! Of the 5 condo's on Molokai, there is no question that Ke Nani Kai is the best. Best pool, best hot tub, best layout, best landscaping, best views, best maintainance staff, and the only condo hot tub on the island. Only minutes walking from the... more

The woman who answers the phone is so rude, she hung up on me twice. I couldn't even book the tour. She shouted "what" down the phone & didn't seem interested at all in trying to get a booking. more

Knowing how important Trip Advisor is to people looking for great accommodations at good prices I wanted to leave this review on our stay in Molokai, booked through Chad, as we were a guest in his luxury condo at The Molokai Shores #330. First of all I want to say how lovely this condo is. And how rare a find... more

We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and decided to try a B & B for the first time. It was wonderful! The house was lovely, the host (Tom) was welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely would come again. more

Aloha, I went on the Molokai Mule ride on September 18th 2008. It was a spectacular tour. The best tour I think I've ever taken. I had to do this trip alone as my husband stayed behind with our little boy. I have a fear of heights and doing the trip alone had me a little nervous. However, it wasn't... more

We just returned from a ten day stay at the Pauwalu cottage and will definitely be returning there for our next Hawaii visit. This cottage is great for kids. The beach has very easy (and safe) access and the fish pond enclosure turns the ocean front into a wading pool that is perfect for children (I understand the other Dunbar... more

If you like Asian furnishings and lovely ambiance, this is the place for you. Very well appointed condo, stocked with all possible appliances, and entertainment supplies you could wish for. There is no AC, but many fans available. Excellent view over water, facing Maui- but contrary to the name "Wavecrest", there really are no waves here! Although this condo is... more

I recently returned from our vacation to Maui. This year we visited the island of Molokai and did the World Famous Molokai Mule Ride down the tallest sea cliffs in the World (over 3,000 feet in height) to the former leprosy colony of Kalaupapa, where patients of Hansen's Disease were banished to die in the late 1800's. The mule ride... more

We just returned from 9 days on Molokai in unit #115, owned by Rose Hartmann. Absolutely beautiful condo with everything you could possbily need and more, all top of the line. The lanai gives you ocean views and fabulous sunsets. There is a gorgeous pool and hot tub/jacuzzi on the grounds, which are beautfully maintained. Since the Molokai Ranch has... more

If you need a place to stay in Molokai stay here! The owner did this condo up beautifully. The condo was lovely, the view was gorgeous and the pool was fantastic. We have fantastic memories of Molokai and of this condo. This condo is very convenient to the town, which is another good reason to stay here. Friendly's Grocery store... more

Hello, I had the time of my life while vacationing in Molokai this past September. My family and I went to the Hotel Molokai twice for breakfast and once for dinner. The food was never great and the waitresses were crabby. My husband is the easiest going guy on the planet but these ladies were always quick to say something... more

We spent the better of 2 weeks at Hotel Molokai and just loved the atmosphere and the serenity and peacefulness of the island. This place is for people that just want to get away and are not into the commercialization of the other islands. There are NO TRAFFIC LIGHTS in Molokai!! It is known as the "original Hawaii" and is... more

My family and I were there in September. The tour I thought was just OK but I did buy some Macadamian cooking oil and some Lei's made with the Macamian's, in their natural form. I was glad to go for those purchases. more

We visited Molokai in September and ate dinner at Paddler's Inn. It was a real treat, the staff is friendly, the food wonderful and the Hawaiian entertainment was great. There are only a few places to have dinner on this island, but this one is "the place " to go.The prices are resonable and the Happy Hour drinks you can't beat.... more

This was a fun, low-key place. Unlike the big mac nut farms on the big island, you can actually visit this one and walk through the trees. It is a small operation, but that is why it is great. The owners tell you all about how the nuts are grown and what they do to get them ready for sale.... more

We found Wavecrest through vrbo.com, which was a great site to book directly with the owner of the condo. And what an amazing condo it was! Unit A112, first level. The patio opened right up to the ocean, although there is no beach for swimming. There is a great pool, got lots of sun and has a great view of... more

*Hotel Website-mis-leading! Does not reflect the true conditions of this hotel *Upon reviewing the reviews on trip advisor regarding this hotel, most of the comments are right on.
