This is a very new hotel. We booked a room for 4 for a family weekend outing through hotwire (what a deal). The kids really enjoyed this property. Check in was quick and easy an the staff was pleasant. I had a twin bed room the only negative would be is that you have to keep the bathroom door closed in order to open the room door. This wasn't that big of a deal for me. The hotel was very clean even the pool & hot tub area.... more

Very nice facility. up to date, good staff, close to interstate but not too close to hear the traffic, but I warn you that there is a railroad next door and during our stay we listened to 5 trains sweep by. If this is a concern ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel, (southeast side). more

The food was average at best, but the service was good. My son did love the Superhero Milkshake though and the Super Hero decorations throughout the restaurant are fun, too. more

I've always enjoyed going to Cheeseburger. Get the house burger, add Heinz 57, sub Onion Strings for the fries and then the drink of choice for that day. Also like the live music from time to time although sometimes they are real stinkers. more

My wife and I really enjoyed this settlement. All the workers were extremely knowledgable and friendly. The settlement really gave a feel for what life was like back in the 1800's. If you go at lunch, you may only spend $5 and the food is great. It's much more if you go at dinner time. If you go on your birthday they give you a special cake and sing to you in Chinese. You also get your picture taken which they put in a card that says Happy Birthday in Chinese. more
