Best Sushi around! They have a citrus salad with an amazing dressing. The owner swears it keeps colds away! more
I love this place! I always leave overly full. more
I met a couple colleagues here for lunch today. To my surprise, seems like there were a bunch of business lunches going on. The menu had many good choices from Cobb Salad to Gourmet Burgers to my favorite a pulled pork Cuban Sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive. Overall, I think this might be my new... more
All of the Greystone's in the B'More area are fantastic - great wine selection. more
The pizza is good, with many options you won't find at a typical pizza restaurant like artichoke hearts, prosciutto, and feta. On weekend evenings, there is often a wait but within 2 minutes after you get a table they provide yummy rolls and olive oil with herbs. Along with the nearby Macaroni Grill, it's more crowded than most Columbia restaurants,... more
We've been searching for a nice bar that we can have good food and drinks on a saturday night when driving all the way to DC or Baltimore just isnt appealing. The pub is located near a hotel area and is unassuming from the outside. Inside the woody decor is very warm and inviting. I loved the martinis and the... more
They have done great reconstructing their restaurant out of the ashes of the one before. I agree that the food is not cheap, but I would caution you to look at the ingredients of the dishes. They are also not cheap, i.e. Angus with real Blue Cheese, Duck Confit etc...I had the Angus burger and substituted in the duck fat... more
I was traveling to visit colleges and the HI Columbia was centrally located between D.C. and the suburbs of Baltimore. The rooms were equipped with a flat screen tv and an iHome iPod docking station, so I got to wake up to my favorite music. Wireless internet was free, but even when my room was very close to the main... more
Pretty good rotisserie style chicken and sides and all. Kind of like a Boston Market. I wish they would have a little bit bigger portions, though, since I eat so much :) more
We got a gift certificate from restaurant.com to save $25 off of a meal. My husband and I ordered a single appetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert. After the $25 off, we ended up spending $44 on a so-so meal. The restaurant wants to be really classy and romantic, but there were a few problems. There were no other customers... more
On October 13th I had a reservation to stay the the Columbia Sheraton. When I went to check-in around 4 pm, I was lead through construction and wet paint to get to the room. Once I got to the room it clearly hadn't been vacuumed. I asked the front desk to resolve the issue and said I would be back... more
I recently went here with my parents for dinner. Food was very good, but the service really knocked this place over the top. Very friendly and knowledgable. When my mom and myself ordered the Hot and Sour soup, the waiter said he had eaten it for breakfast and lunch. Not a bad endorsment. The soup was pretty spicy, too. Had... more
The Peralynna Inn does not truly honor gift certificates and they try to squeeze as much money out of their guests as they can. I bought a gift certificate for my mother for Christmas last year in the amount of $450. This was supposed to cover a one night stay and 2 $75 massages. I purchased the gift certificate directly... more
The Inn at Peralynna is a dream! The hotel style inn was recently renovated and has beautiful furnishings throughout. The staff was available for any question we had about the area and suggested a lovely restaurant, The Iron Bridge, for a romantic dinner. The owners, David and Cynthia Lynn, really go above and beyond to make the guests feel welcomed... more
Food is ok. I got a calzone and the available ingredients were lacking. Server was nice. more
We stayed at the Hilton Columbia 4 nights in September for our daughter's wedding. Her reception & accomodations were at this hotel. Room was clean. The wastebaskets weren't emptied on our first day but were emptied the next. I'm not sure the room thermostat worked but we were comfortable enough. We called for extra towels & they came promptly. Room... more
