We just spent a week at August Lodge. The building and setting are beautiful, and the entire staff is most gracious. This is an especially great for a family with kids, lots of things to keep them happy. We will go back. more

WOW -- what a beautiful lodge. Spectacular views; the Sydney Suite was perfect for two couples. Bonfire at night added to the ambience -- and a way to meet other guests. Jaime and Steve were perfect hosts -- Phil too. This place is a gem.....only a 10 minute drive to Cooperstown, and wineries/breweries. Lots of outdoor space for the kiddies... more
