We stayed in Villa Andrea for 11 nights and were most happy with our choice. As per other review comments the hotel is nicely situated at the quieter end of Tucepi, but still only a short flat walk along the sea front to the centre of town with it's host of restuarants. The staff at Villa Andrea were all friendly... more

We found the hotel easy to book via e mail. This is a small friendly hotel, with great staff & great views of the sea and islands. Our room was spacious, with lots of storage & was kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, I am a vegetarian & at first this seemed to be a problem as we had... more

We couldnt have had a better stay in this magic family run small hotel right on the beautiful adriatic in Tucepi. It is not on the busy end of Tucepi and has everything eg. chairs to sit on the beach free of charge, internet free of charge, very comfotable beds and affordable and language wasnt a problem either as we only speak... more

We found Villa Andrea on the internet and booked the family room. We have two children (7 years and 19 months), and space is pretty important for us. Boy, did we get space! A beautiful spacious room with upstairs another floor. Two bathrooms and more than enough closet space with hangers - heaven! We loved the location of the hotel,... more

First and foremost, if you are planning a week away without children, then this is not the hotel for you. Our first impressions were that the hotel looked ok. It's clean and tidy and set in beautiful scenerey. In fact, beautiful scenery doesn't do it justice, it's stunning! We were allocated our room which we were told was in The... more

I stayed at Hotel Afrodita and found that everything was perfect we had a two bd studio with upstairs in it. The upstairs had the main bedroom and a second balcony with sea views (lovely wakeing up with my wife over looking the sea) the food was just average and the receptionist didnt want to know us because we had... more

Hotel Afrodita is lovely, in a perfect location about halfway along the main promenade, it is close to all the restaurants, shops and bars but far enough away up quite a lot of steps to be peaceful and there is no noise pollution. The rooms are spotless and have everything you need for a comfortable holiday and our balcony was... more

Villa Andrea was the perfect place for us, a Norwegian couple in our fifties: cosy, clean, good food, nice location, caring staff and all the other good things written before about this small hotel. Breakfast on the veranda looking out on the calm Adriatic Sea, marvellous sunsets and the sound of the waves rolling on to the seashore at night... more

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Croatia. Spent 4 days in Tucepi at this great hotel. It is situated at the quiet end of the resort - not that it is overly noisy anywhere, but the feeling of being so close to the beach and sea is lovely. At night all you can hear is the sound of the... more

Thanks to the other Tripadvisor reviews I was well prepared for this holiday. Tucepi is a mix of local apartments for rent (south side) and a few hotels on the north side. The Afrodita is definitely the best of the hotels for families, older couples or people who have traveled and expect a certain quality. If you are young and... more

Facilities and cleanliness of Afrodita village were very good, however the swimming pool and outside Jacuzzi were ice cold for the whole week. Tucepi itself was rather dissapointing with loads of tacky gift shops. Restaurants were OK but they were all pretty much the same - you normally find a couple of gems when you visit a resort, but not... more

We booked this hotel for two weeks and got to spend a little too much time in it ... It rained almost every day the last week so we spent a lot of time in our room and in the hotel restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and boring, the beds okey apart from the very uncomfortable pillows, and the view... more

Lovely hotel. we stayed in standard room with balcony. small but nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a gym, indoor swimpool, sauna but this is an additional cost. Breakfast was fantastic. We just had dinner in hotel once. it was just ok. there was a good enough selection, but there was no atmosphere at all. we... more

An excellent hotel. The staff are pleasant and could not be more helpful. The rooms are comfortable with good facilities (except no way of making a cup of tea or coffee in the room - so take a travel kettle if you want to have an early morning drink). The hotel is situated about half way along the promenade and... more
