This was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our family of 6 (dh, I and 4 kids-10 yrs old) did the 1/2 day ride. Beau, our cowboy, was fantastic! Our kids were fine-not afraid at all-although the mules are trained to walk close to the edge! The scenery is stunning! Yes your knees and backside ache when you get... more

Booked this in advance but it is in the lobby of Bryce Canyon lodge and can be booked when you get there if you get up very early.Great way to see the canyon. The horses/mules seem very high at first but you get used to them.Hurts your backside a bit especially when you do the half day trip like us but... more

I booked a morning trail ride for my family of four. My son, age 10, was very nervous about being on a horse. My daughter, age 7, was fine. I told the guide right away, so he could choose the best horses/mules for them. Hank, our guide, was very understanding. Although he started out leading my daughter, when my son... more

The cowboys are really cool and helpful and they point out some interesting... more

This really is the very best way to see the beauty of Bryce Canyon. If you haven't ridden before (like me), don't worry, just tell the good... more

Hank, our cowboy/guide/leader was incredible. He was funny. My girlfriend's mule started one of it's bodily functions and he told my girlfriend to twist the horn at the top of the pommel clockwise to control the flow! She almost did before realizing it was a joke! That was just the start of our trip. All through the Queen's Garden trail... more

My wife and I went with on the mule ride from the Bryce Lodge last July. You check in at the lodge and sign a wavier, then head for the corrall. When you get there the cowboy in charge will ask you if you have rode and if you have, how much. With us I told him it had been... more

Der vielleicht schönste Canyon mit bizarren Felsformationen und schönen Trails. Empfehlenswert: Sonnenuntergang mit Sicht über den Canyon. more
