What a fantastic experience. My son aged 7 and I had a fantastic 2 hour ride. I on a wonderful Clydesdale. Much more used to riding my spirited Arab and wasnt sure what to expect but the horses were fantastic and very repsonsive not your usual 'trecking' horses. Each horse was matched to the experience of therider and the staff... more

Well, this one was definately an anti-climax. Yes these are big horses. and they are reasonably kept but not the best. The horse I was on had a burst blisted on its back and should not have really been on the ride. It should have been rested. But instead staff decided to put additional pads on the back of the... more

What can i say about the West Highland Heavy Horse Centre on Skye brilliant, fantastic. We went last October to Skye and found this centre it made our holiday.The horses and staff are fab The ride was out of this world best part swimming in the sea with the horses so graceful but so powerful.My ride major fantastic horse ended... more
