My mother, sister and I went to Ana Y Jose last Spring and had a wonderful time. Please don't let the reviews that say it is quiet deter you if you want to go out and have fun while you are there. There is a strip of hotels with bars and outdoor bands just a short cab ride or long... more

We really enjoyed AyJ. Stayed there two nights. The restaurant had very good food, the staff friendly. Our room, Deseo, was the best one at the site. The only slight complaint I heard was that the room, Estrella (I think), above the kitchen, smelled like grilled food. But the two ladies staying there did not find it so bad that... more

Our camera was stolen during our stay at Ana y Jose. We accidentally left it on the grounds. When we returned for it 30 minutes later, it was gone. We reported it to management immediately, and to their credit, they promptly interviewed the staff. Unfortunately the camera was not found. Management, namely Mr. Oscar Zermeno, then assumed no responsibility and... more

My wife and I decided for Ana y Jose, out of the many places, because of the air condition rooms... it wasn't our first visit in the Yucatan peninsola and in July you really need it! We booked the Deseo room, with a spacious balcony overlooking the ocean and found it comfortable and clean with excellent sheets and pillows and... more

This is a bit of a delayed review, but I stayed in the Patron Suite last summer after a terrible experience at Posada del Sol down the road. I had eaten at Ana y Jose the night before and headed to reception at 7am the next day to switch hotels immediately. Any y Jose is absolutely beautiful (though I felt... more

My wife (before she was my wife) informed me that I would be in charge of making sure we had a great honeymoon. I looked all over Mexico and the Carib. and ultimately found AyJ through TripAdvisor. The reviews here are mostly positive, and described what I thought we were looking for. So I booked it! ... I was delighted... more

Our marriage took place at Ana y Jose Beach Club and it was beyond our expectations. Planning a wedding out of the country and over the internet can be intimidating and difficult. We chose Ana y Jose for our marriage after researching multiple properties in Tulum over the internet. We did not have a chance to see the property before... more

Per Janet and Jack's suggested (from Posada Luna Del Sol) we spent all of our time at the beach club. The beach was clean, the servers attentive and the chairs plentiful. We also had great massages by Carolina while we were there one day. Looking forward to going back next year. more

We traveled as two couples and stayed in high-end rooms, Deseo and Encantada ($335 a night). For the price, I feel we did not have a very good experience. For one, and I hope this doesn't sound petty, they didn't provide coffee for the room except in individual serving amounts similar to an espresso at $2.50 a cup. This is... more

Ana y Jose is a palapa style small hotel on the south end of Tulum. We stayed there for one night in May in the upper floor of one of their private casas, which was a large bedroom suite with private patio, private pool and spacious bathroom. I think it was Casa #3. It can be rented with the first... more
