We just returned from a 10 night stay at Dreams Tulum for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time! We would definitely recommend this resort to our family and friends. Arrival: Yes, the 2 hour ride from the airport was long, but we knew about it so we used it to our advantage...we used the time to get a glimpse... more

Last year oct./nov. 2007 we were almost four weeks in Mexico,of which we stayed ten lovely days at Dreams Tulum. It was a couple of weeks after the last hurricane. There was hardly anything to be seen of the damage, although it took quite a lot of work to restore the compound to its original state, as we were told... more

My new husband and I have just returned from a honeymoon vacation at Dreams Tulum from Sept 14-21,2008. I cannot express how happy I was with every aspect of this resort. We were pleasantly received by champagne and a cold towel to help cool us down after the drive from Cancun airport. Everyone we met, staff and patrons alike, were... more

We arrived at the airport 40 minutes ahead of schedule, customs was fast and easy. Apple rep's easy to spot and very friendly. The bad thing was a VERRRRY long bus ride 2 hours and 20 minutes, if I was going to do it again upgrade to direct transfer. We arrived at Dreams and loved it, greeted with a glass... more

Remeber people that you are on vacation....in another country. From my travel experience if one little thing goes wrong people are just idiots and externalize the problem on the property...and in most cases the problem is with the traveller themselves. We did arrive when the resort was trying to be closed due to some problem...which is not relevant. I digress... more

We went for our honeymoon and had a lovely quiet relaxing loved up 2 weeks. The hotel was clean and felt luxurious. the staff were friendly and a bit OTT i.e they kept saying "its a pleasure to serve you", it seemed a very american thing. Our room had a king size bed and was cleaned alot but the view... more

Just got back from Dreams Tulum for a wedding 9/25-9/28. The resort was nice but defiantly not 5-star. It's a 1 1/2 hr drive from the Cancun airport. Which makes for a long travel day. My biggest word of caution is be careful going on the off season. It rained almost every day we were there. The entire campus is... more

I just got back from my honeymoon from Dreams and, I wouldnt call it a dream at all. We stayed from Sept 21-25th. First off, they tell you that they greet you with champagne. Not true. They greet SOME people with champagne. There were 4 of us in the bus when we got there and none of us got it.... more

Liked the resort a lot. But beach is rocky. Preferred to stay away from Cancun and liked the natural beauty of the location. more
