my husband and I just returned from our amazing vacation at ocho. We absolutely loved our entire experience. We stayed in an ocean front room which had incredible sunrise views and was only steps away from one of the most romantic beaches in tulum. It was peaceful and quiet and the staff did everything to make our experience perfect. The... more

My boyfriend and I had the wonderful privelege of staying at Ocho Tulum last week and I must say it is one of the nicest cabanas in the area. We had a partial ocean view room which was immaculate upon arrival and we received plenty of breeze at night. We kept the ceiling fan on but half way through the... more

We stayed at 8 Tulum in mid-September for 3 nights. I was about to book at another place nearby, but after reading all the positive reviews here about the hotel I decided to book with them. I'm glad I did! The Hotel is located almost at the end of long stretch of beach-front hotels, very near to the Biosphere Reserve,... more

My new wife and I spent our honeymoon at Ocho Tulum. Crystall, John, Armine and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in an ocean view room. It was very spacious and clean with a view to die for. The double shower was really nice too ;-) The beach in front... more

My partner and I stayed at Ocho Tulum for five days in September. We had booked the OM Hotel next door, but left after one night, dissatisfied. John at Ocho welcomed us with a reduced price for a oceanfront room, and a winning and positive attitude. This hotel really felt like a proper ecologically conscious resort -- they produce all... more

Hello ALL! I've been in Mexico last week (Setember 2008). Rented a JEEP and went down from Riviera Maya (Puerto Morelos) to this place. I was staying in H10 Punta Coral & Turquesa (check my review later on), but when arriving this place i though "this is the place i should have booked!!!!". The beach is trully amazing, a dream!... more

My husband and I visited Ocho Tulum Aug. 6-8, 2008 and we wished we had stayed longer. Ocho Tulum is a wonderful eco-resort, with a beautiful beach and wonderful service. The days we were there we felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The room was great, no AC but we didn't need it. At first I was... more

My Fiance and I went to the Ocho with several of our friends for a nice, relaxing getaway. The Ocho provided just that! The beaches were absolutely amazing, I saw the maintenance crew for the Ocho out every morning grooming the beach to make it pleasurable for the guests. The food here was amazing! My Fiance and I ordered the... more

I stayed in one of the wonderful rooms on the oceanfront. Ultra comfortable with soft breezes all the time. The food in the restaurant was so good we hardly ever left. The personal service and echo sensibility are just an added benefit. There was a beautiful wedding happening on the beach and was no disturbance at all. Just festive! I... more

We stayed in Ocho Tulum with our 11-month old baby for 10 days and had an outstanding vacation. Of its many features, I will highlight those that make it a great destination for families with young children. Perhaps the most valuable asset of this resort is its staff. The majority were friendly, helpful and patient with our active and sometimes... more
