Staying at 42 Montgomery B&B was an added plus to our visit to the Hall of Fame Induction at Cooperstown, New York. It was a short drive back and forth through beautiful countryside. There is nothing like staying in a beutifully kept, circa 1840's home, just far enough outside Cooperstown to enjoy the magnificent drive - and - make a new friend. My husband, kids and I were greatly relieved to find a B&B with rooms available (nearby colleges with parents weekend seemed to take up most hotels/B&B's). It was most upsetting to me to realize that I had to cancel this reservation. A daughter had been making plans for her parents and thoroughly relied on the whole family being together. At the last minute, she added more family members and needed all the rooms. It was a unique situation, but there was little else I could do....
