I agree with skx927..avoid this hotel and stay next door at the Holiday Inn Express. I stayed here with my wife and kids (14 and 11) as a stopover on the way to Boston. On our return we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. On our arrival we were 'greeted' by a grumpy slovenly woman who gave us a really... more

The property itself lives up to its description on the Best Western website-we did find fault BOTH days of our stay with the breakfast offered. Only 2 choices of cold cereal-fruit loops was one-no hot cereal-the hot item was biscuits and gravy. The waffles, unlike the batter-poured being offered in so many motels of this price range were, instead, toaster... more

I booked my weekend at the Best Western for my annual baseball game at Doubleday Field when I was told by friends that the Holiday Inn Express, which is next door, was actually cheaper. I cancelled my reservation online prior to getting charged a $25 fee and enjoyed my weekend at the Holiday Inn and at Cooperstown. To my surprise,... more

We stayed there the week before the Dreams Park crowds arrive. It wasn't a bad deal. The room was clean; the internet access worked. It's not fancy, but the price was reasonable ( a little over $100). There's a good coffee shop/lunch place in the shopping center. more

I just returned from a visit to Cooperstown over the Memorial Day weekend, staying at this hotel for 2 nights. I was actually quite pleased, contrary to some of the reviews here. I chose the hotel because I have 3 children and didn't want to pay for 2 rooms, so I looked for a hotel with 2 queen beds and... more

I checked out this hotel in November 2004 (site visit) for our group. I read the reviews that are posted at this web site and was worried about our group staying there. I worried for no reason. The staff on 4-12 was wonderful! The rooms were clean and the hotel was outstanding! We stayed in the main lodge. Our group throughly... more

This hotel is extremely convenient for the Dream Park teams but the staff is very unfriendly and often seems to feel that you are creating problems for them by staying there. The breakfast is poor with very few choices (none of which are very healthful) and not very good coffee. There are many other choices in the area that are... more

I stayed here July 22 through 29th, 2005. My son played baseball at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Overpriced, no attention to detail, mold 2 inches all around the tub! Fitness equipment broken the entire time I was there. (I inquired at front desk - said it wouldn't be fixed during my stay, I could go to Clarks Sport Center in the... more

This is the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed at! The staff was rude and seemed bothered that we had the audacity to ask them for extra towels. The hotel maid walked into our room TWICE without knocking at all. She also was rather rude. There was a strange stench throughout the hotel and it was quite unpleasant. My son... more

My husband and I just returned from an overnight trip to Cooperstown, NY. We usually go visit the Baseball Hall of Fame annually and have spent time at several of the hotel/motels in that area. Upon our arrival at the Best Western, we were greeted quite coldly by the lady at the desk who seemed to have an attitude. We... more
