Recently went on a hen do and found out about the house rules on the way there (no denim or visible tattoo's during eve). Not great when 1 of the party had not brought an outfit which covered tattoo's for the evening Thought this was going to be a classy place... Wrong!!! I booked in at short notice, but my room was clean, and comfortable. They even provide an easy chair in which to relax. The restaurant food was delicious and reallly good value, and the waiting staff were friendly and help ful, provididng excellent service. Being surrounded by open land, the hotel is quiet. We booked this place for our wedding, organised flights for family, the band, speakers etc. only to be told 3 days later they had cancelled our booking and given it to someone else. They would not accommodate us elsewhere, they would not apologise. They did offer a different date but would not pay for the changes for the flights etc.... more
