We were there for a religious convention and wanted some personal time for our selves also. We loved the pool area and the spa area. The room was everyting we exprected, all class one. We slept wonderfully and extremely quiet and no cleaning people knocking on your door at 8:00. We enjoyed the suite with the bedroom separare from the... more
We have just returned from spending five nights at the Hawthorne Suites. My husband and two children (aged 16 and 12) were very impressed with the hotel. This place was perfect for our needs and at a price that was very affordable. The kitchenette divides the bedroom area from the "office/relaxing" area of the suite. First off, reserved a king room, got a 2 queen room...Told when I asked about it that there was no guarantee on what room you get when you check in... Ok,... more
We stayed at the Hawthorn for 3 nights. The room was clean and spacious and the staff at the front desk was not only friendly, but helpful in giving directions. They remembered my name day to day and asked how we were doing. There was a Perkins Restaurant within walking distance along with multiple stores including Meijer, Wal-Mart, Fast-Food, Sit-down... more
