My husband and I visited Memphis and just dropped into the Airport Inn. All seemed well until we got checked in and got to our room. The room smelled horrible, the walls were a color I can't even describe, the floors were nasty, and I was even afraid to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was NASTY!! I even refused... more

feb 25 2008 if your like to swim then this is not the place, my grandkid like to swim but the pool was in on place to take the kids. If you went in the day time and if the door was not open you had to go outside to get to the pool. The fans were going 24/7 and... more

The Hotel staff was helpful,no problems here. this hotel is old but most in this area are, lobby was nice room suited our needs.Sheets were changed daily and room was cleaned. Out side primiter needs some cleaning as people dont know how to put trash in cans, also weeds need to be trimed. If you need phone lines they are helpful but... more

stayed here in 2002 with a large group on a escorted trip. Every one on the trip thought this hotel was a total disgrace, most refused to stay and some managed to be put in other hotels. The staff rude, unhelpful. The rooms appalling, damp ,wallpaper falling off. rooms smelt badly, bathroom dirty especially the bath and shower. bedlinen damp... more

There is no less than 1 point for this hotel, so I'll stick to 1. But this not really reflects my opinion about it. It's a really horribel hotel. And I've stayed in quite some hotels. I mean, I did have hotels worse than that. But that was at countrysides of 3rd world countries. Well, anyways... it's basically all been... more

We just came back from the worst hotel/motel experience. The Airport Inn should not operate their business. Where should I begin? The overall room - it was smelly, molded, cracks in the wall, stains everywhere, and very badly installed windows (if you stay here, don't even think about staying the first floor. Someone can easily break into your room). The... more

Please learn from my mistake and do not stay at this establishment. It is dirty, rundown and spooky. We made a reservation through Orbitz for a non-smoking room but were initially placed in a smoking room that reeked. The second room was actually worse. My daughter's feet were blackened from walking across the carpeting barefoot. The furniture was covered in... more

We stayed there 2 nights at the end of Dec 2005 and didn't have any major problems. They hadn't received the reservations we made the day before at hotels dot com but they let us checkin w/o too much fuss anyway. The hotel is kinda run-down but it was clean enough and everything worked. Due to the neighborhood and some... more

Yes it's close to Graceland, but there are closer places to stay like the Scottish inn, or Gracelnad Hotel if proximity is important to you. Corridors and rooms are dark and dingy. there was a man sitting on the floor playing with his dog outside our room. There was some loud concert on nearby and the rooms are not sound-proofed.... more

We stayed shortly after Katrina and the hotel was full of refugees from New Orleans - so I would like to be charitable. Unfortunately there's no excuse for the hotel being so grotty. The carpets were smelly. The rooms were stale . The corridors are dark and unpleasant. We booked a non smoking room with breakfast. We got a smoking... more
