Our stay was highlighted by an extremely courteous staff, particularly the front desk and doormen, who assisted with our luggage. (My family does not travel light as we arrived with a large double jogging stroller, bicycle and many pieces of baggage). The amenities were fabulous as the room we stayed in featured a large flat screen television and IPOD dock/alarm... more

Had read reviews on the Iroquois on this website but unfortunately was not as good as I had expected. Arrived to find that the lobby was under major renovations. This was not mentioned when I was doing research but after my trip, I went and checked the site and there were quite a few mentions of it. Service from concierge/front... more

After reading many travel books and internet sites on where to stay in New York, we chose the Iroquois --it was the perfect choice. Located just a few blocks from Times Square, the theatre district, great restaurants, 5th Avenue, and Madison Avenue, we were able to walk to nearly all points of interest. The staff was very gracious and friendly... more

Our summer stay at the Iroquois was terrific. From early check in (the valet stored our bags for the day), to the lovely room and amenities, we were won over our first day in New York. Sure, the room was small, but we weren't there to stay in - we were exploring and shopping the city. The Iroquois was perfectly... more

This is a really good hotel based two blocks from Times Square. My room was a "superior room" which included complimentary NYC times, shoeshine and turndown service. The main difference to a standard room seems to be the minibar. In my room it was a very stocked fridge, in a standard room, no fridge and minibottles just placed on a... more

We arrived at the hotel off the back of a 7 night stay in a Vegas suite and to say the constrast was a shock to the system would be an understatement. When we arrived we were greeted by a reception area that was in the middle of being refurbished (the hotel conveniently managed to omit this during any booking... more

On arrival at the hotel we were a little concerned as we saw work going on in the lobby but this turned out to be refurbishment (quiet) and not at all a hindrance. The staff were very friendly and the hotel boosted a real customer focus feel. The room was excellent. There was a large flat screen tv, Molten Brown... more

We stayed at the Iroquois from Aug.29-Sept.2/08. I was dissapointed when we arrived as I had a different impression of the hotel from the website. The hotel was OK....but nothing special. I had read some reviews about the lobby being under construction months ago...well, the lobby was still under construction when we arrived. The hotel just seemed runned down...very very... more

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for our anniversary. It is located very close to Broadway, the theaters, and the subway line. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got several good suggestions for cheap drinks at local watering holes. The rooms are a comfortable size for New York City. The complimentary water was nice. There was supposed to... more
