Great stay! Impeccable service. Our room was very spacious although it did not have a view. However, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bathroom was beautiful with separate shower / toilet / tub areas. Worth every penny (and not a bad deal with the 50% off from Starpoints). The butler on each floor is a nice touch and we... more

We stayed at this hotel for five nights using Starwood Points and used it as our base to attend the U.S. Open tennis matches. Service was superb and the room, complete with a large, swiveling, LCD TV concealed in a pop-up box at the end of the bed, was exquisite. Since we arrived just after lunch, our room was not... more

I recently stayed at the St Regis and for a hotel of it's status wasn't overly impressed. The good points - The room was spacious and had a nice bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. The bad points - The floor smelt of stale smoke - and this was supposedly a non smoking floor. The breakfast was disgusting,... more

Stayed 3 nights with 2 kids 5 and 8. We felt so welcome by the warm staff (butler, concierge, groom, waiter...) we cannot wait to return. We used to stay at the Four Seasons but fell so anonymous last time we wanted a change. Well, we were right : Everybody greeted us in a very personal way and all seemed... more

Just returned from a weekend at the St. Regis in NYC. I was not overly impressed by the hotel. The first night we checked in we were given a room on a lower floor - with absolutely no view (except for an exterior wall). We were moved the second night, but our room was only half the size. The butler... more

Went with friends to look at universities and shopping! Also saw Mary Poppins which was unbelievable! The location is great at 55 and 5 ave. The suite with connecting room was huge and new! The service was the best in new york for dining, theatre, and transportation. The Astor Court serves a fabulous afternoon tea, best in NY and the... more

We go to NYC frequently and rotate between the Ritz by the Park and the St. Regis. Both are thumbs up from me. The St Regis is more pricey but classical elegance at it's finest. The Astor Court serves a great tea, the Bar is cool and the Alain Ducasse restaurant is great fine dining. The location is great between... more

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I recently booked it for 1 special night, as I was proposing to my girlfriend. I live in NY and had considered the other great hotels (The Ritz, The Mandarin), but I couldn't have been more pleased that I chose this hotel for our special stay. I booked a Grand Luxe... more

Booked two nights at the St. Regis for my wife's birthday midweek using Starwood points. Arrived to find I was upgraded to a Madison Suite with two full baths and 875 square feet total including views of 5th and 55th streets. Received complimentary Champagne and sweets. Also got requested 3P.M. late checkout. If you can find fault with this hotel... more
