What a beautiful place! Just a few minutes from the bluff over the Mississippi, the 1888 Wensel place was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. Ron and Mimi were fantastic, and gave us lots of good advice. The rooms had high ceilings, clean looks, great linens, good heat, lots of pillows and were just put together in a beautiful... more

The 1888 Wensel House Bed and Breakfast was the perfect vacation destination. My wife and I stayed in the cottage for three nights. The service and accommidations for us made our trip unforgettable. Ron and Mimi do an exceptional job of making all of their guests feel as if they are at a home away from home. The cottage was... more

stayed in cottage 'out back'. superb character property that accomadated us and parents comfortable. Also a bonus was the washing machine and dryer for us to 'refresh' clothes half way through the holiday. Good food and bars nearby, and a good breakfast in the morning. A great experience for UK cits to try a little local hospitality - rather than... more

First of all, my family and I feel lucky to have been taken in by Ron and Mimi after our original reservation with a nearby B&B fell through. The house is lovely. It's got all that you need. Comfortable spaces, beautiful things, and spacious rooms. The little cottage out back is GREAT, with the full kitchen, the DVD television and... more

My boyfriend and I took a quick Memorial Day vacation to Natchez. We stayed in the cottage at the 1888 Wensel House and absolutely loved it! The cottage has two cute bedrooms, a bath, kitchen, dining area, living room, and front and back porches. It is a great value for the money, private, and cozy. We also had an opportunity... more

First, let me say that previous tripadvisor reviews of the 1888 Wensel House were invaluable and totally accurate. Ron & Mimi were the perfect hosts with information and perspectives galore. After the busy days, we took advantage of the sidebar to enjoy a late afternoon cocktail before going out to dinner. As is described, the location was perfect, and the... more

The four of us teachers truly enjoyed our stay at the Wensel House. Our ajoining rooms were large and very comfortable, but having the beautiful living room open to us to visit was the best. The hosts were very accomodating, even putting out a tray of wine and soft drinks for our enjoyment. They were extreemly knowledable about the area... more

This was a very lovely place to stop off on our way from Clarksdale, MS to Louisiana. Natchez itself is beautiful and this B&B represents Natchez very well. We stayed in the cottage in the backyard which was great and to a high standard. The hosts were accommodating and we would recommend this to anyone wanting a very civilised place... more

My husband and I discovered the Wensel house in 1995 when we were married in Natchez. Since that time we have stayed there over a dozen times. There are so many wonderful things to say about the Wensel house and its owners, Ron and Mimi Miller. The Wensel house is inviting, warm, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with antiques. The breakfast... more

My wife and I travel to Natchez a few times a year and always stay at the Wensel House. Ron and Mimi have a small cottage in the back of the big house that we try and reserve everytime. It makes us feel like we have our own home there! Their knowledge of the history of Natchez is unsurpassed. The... more
