I haven't seen anything about it on here yet, so I just wanted anyone planning on being in Amsterdam on November 1 to know that it is Museum Night. Most of the major museums will be open from 7pm-2am that night, with music, and food, and parties. One 17 Euro ticket not only gets you into all participating museums that night, it also is good for public transportation, and, is also good for an additional entrance into a museum of your choice for the rest of the year. I attended MuseumNacht in Paris a few years ago so am excited to experience it in Amsterdam. This site: has a link with English information. I purchased my ticket online and it arrived in the US less than a week later. They do suggest you buy ahead of time as the event usually sells out by day of. P.S. I purchased mine online and it arrive last week too :) Looks good for the money! Any locals or previous visitors got any tips on the best museums to visit on the night?
