I am flying into the White Plains (Westchester airport) and need to get to the Westin hotel in Stamford. Does anyone have any suggestions? I do not wish to rent a car since I am only going to be there a few days. Is there a train? cab? Thanks.

Not an easily accessed train and a cab will break you - try a car hire service - CT Limo, Red Dot Shuttle, Rudy's Limo.....

I would contact the hotel and see what they have to say about shuttles.

As you can see from this web site, public transportation isnt great from the airport. You can take a public bus to downtown white plains and then from there take a commuter connector (assuming you are coming in during the week and during work hours) to connecticut.

Try to see if there are any buses such as Greyhound, Peter Pan, etc. that travel from White Plains to Stamford

Just rent a car - you'll be glad you did.. Westin hotel has a ridiculously long driveway and isn't super easy to walk to everything from there.

I took a cab a while back from Stamford to White Plains airport - it was about $60.
