is this a must place? We went to the Louisville bat factory last year, is this the same type of thing??

I think the CBC "factory" moved to Fly Creek. The retail store is still right on Main Street just west of the HOF.

We have a beautiful commemorative bat honoring the history of Briggs/Tiger Stadium that CBC turned and finished several years ago. Since we got that bat, Major League Baseball pulled the license CBC had held for commerative bats and awarded it to Hillerich & Bradsbey (Louisville Slugger). In my opinion this was a greedy and stupid move by MLB.

So, visiting the store to find a significant souvenir from Cooperstown and MLB might be frustrating for you. The product they do create thought is first class.
