The staff was unfriendly and the decor reminded me of a nursing home --cheap , hospital colours, scrubable plastic. The room wasn't too bad. The breakfast service was poor and the staff were rude.. I was back in town the next week and booked elsewhere even though I it was further away from the place where I was working in Hamilton.

We've just returned from Hamilton, Ontario. We had read horrible reviews about hotels in Hamilton. We stayed at the Admiral Inn and were very pleased with this hotel. The hotel was clean, nice large room and the staff was very friendly.

The restaurant at the hotel had good food and not expensive. We had the house wine which was Kressmann and it was only $18 for a litre.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay there again and recommend it to anyone visiting Hamilton.

If your hitting Hamilton late, and have a early day the next day, great little Hotel. Clean, like most reviews is Paramount, the Bed and linens as good as most the Sheraton's I stay at, Bathroom, OK, good use some better soaps, but still OK. Could use quicker wireless system, but OK.

The best thing I liked was the small but cute little restaurant, had a full bar if you wanted a night cap, and all windows looking outside. A nice Castle Park across the Street. But finally, full Breakfast where you could start your long hard day, not one of those crappy free buffets of garbage most of the other Hotels have. Real waitress, with great coffee and bacon and eggs, or Pancakes. Would whole heartily recommend this little Hotel.

We booked three rooms, as we were staying for a wedding. When we arrived only two rooms were reserved. After enough complaining we managed to get a smoking room. It smelled horrible, but it was all they had. Service was bad. Our in-laws took the smoking room. We found baby food jars and magazines under our bed. How do you miss that when cleaning. There was usually one person working the main desk and answering phones. Very slow to get a response. Located on a main intersection. No land other than parking lots. Small diner area, which had simple breakfasts. Waitress was very nice. Unless we had to, we would stay there again. There was a much nice Shereton down the road for less money. Unfortunately my neice reserved rooms at three locations close to the wedding, and didn't inspect them that well ahead of time. Fair price, but check your bill, there were charges for items we didn't use.
