Spent a week at this hotel in March, found the public areas and rooms very clean. However would describe the rooms as basic. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment at the hotel is none existent and we were disapointed that the hotel was such a long way from the old and new town. Request a sea view and the views are lovely. The food was adequate but could have done with being warmer. Booked this hotel on a last minuite deal and were quite satisfied with the overall standard, would not expect much more for what we paid

Date of travel 26-02-05. After booking this hotel we were happy with all the reviews we found but after staying there cannot understand any of them.
The food is highly recommended but was awful! This is not just our opinion as everyone we spoke to said the same. Hot meals were lukewarm. The choice was poor and if you didn't like chips you were in big trouble(including the chips for breakfast!).
The weather was poor which obviuosly the hotel can't do anything about but the "entertainment" in the hotel was none existent for anyone under 70.
Our room whilst clean was extremely cold even with the radiator on full and keeping the room warm was impossible as the maid left the patio doors open each day!
But my main complain was the staff and Thomsons. Having taken my passport on booking in when I asked for it back 3 days later they didn't have it!! I was continually asked if I was sure I didn't have, and found them totally unsysmpathetic to the fact it was missing. After a day of worry and having to contact the Police and British Consulate my passport then turned up and it was claimed had been handed to the wrong people. However I did not even get an apology at this stage even though they now knew it was their fault.
I have no proof of what actually happened but the hotel clearly take no care of such important documents.
Thomson Just have no Rep in the hotel, just a "helpline". The full "help" I got was the telephone numbers of the Consulate and the Police and to be told it was up to me to sort it out and they wouldn't even send a Rep out to find out how the Hotel could lose my passport!! I was also told the Hotel would pay for me a new passport on return to England but when I asked how, they didn't know.
My experience of this Hotel and Thomsons means I will use neither again.

stayed here in march 05, surprise 50th birthday present for my husband. views of the bay and the sea, from the room were breathtaking. Hotel very clean, and staff very friendly. Would deffinately go back for a winter break again.

Visited here on 20th jan.on a late deal just for a week. Great hotel very informal ,friendly, spotlessly clean.....just cannot fault it. the location has to be your own choice though,it is at the very very end of Poniente,the farthest you can go .May not suit anyone looking for nightlife.It is very quiet and so much more cleaner than the levante side and not commercialised at all.The beach is lovely..The hotel is on rather a "steep" slope but we managed it !! 5minutes from the hotel is a good bus sevice which takes you a good run into poniente for 99cents. Reliable sevice every 10 minutes ther e and back. Forgot to say ......the food at the hotel was full board and it was fantastic every meal..
PS. the weather was good too !! wern`t we the lucky ones !!!!!
