Tropic towers Appartments were kleen and well appointed haveing all house items you would expect. We did notice that all air traffic follows the coast and that Cairns and the other small hamlets follow the coast as the mountainouse hinterland {heritage listed rainforest including the tallest mountain in Queensland }and as Cairns is such a popular destination for its size there is a bit of air traffic, all areas seem to be affected at times when the wind direction is the way it is determins the places which are affected. It seems to depend on your frame of mind as to if it affects you or not . Actualy you will find the most expensive motels are under the same path. The pool and area were well maintained using a salt chlorination system supported by a proffesional company, the pool is beautifully surrounded by tall palms keeping the area shaded from the hot afternoon sun. The manager seemed to have all the information about the local venues and seemed to have visited them all more than a couple of times themselves. A bit of a reef watch weather man as well! The manager was quite selective of people who he allows to stay and will accept no trouble from any one on the premises. A real trouble free environment with a personal touch.
