Where to begin...My boo and I choose the Oxford due to a recommendation from a co-worker of mine. Let's just say, I owe my coworker a gourmet lunch...

Stephen and Trevor along with their home are delightful. Their garden is in surperb condition, one the most beautiful patios and backyards I have ever seen. The guesthouse is situated on a quaint little street which is away from the hustle and bustle but also in perfect walking distance to the action on Commercial St.. The rooms including ours were immaculate and classically stylish, I should know cause I sneaked peaks into all of the others while they were unoccupied of course.

Carl, one of their staff members was extremely friendly and helpful especially when we constantly bugged him for the clothing iron. The light morning breakfast served daily was a great way to start the day; freshed brewed coffee, english muffins, fresh fruit salad and a variety of cereals and even homeade bread pudding which my boo highly enjoyed. Their dog, Potter is probably the friendliest and cleanest dog in all of MA. At first when I was reading reviews about the house that mentioned their dog, Potter I was worried because I'm usually allergic and scared of big dogs but due to her calm manner and well grooming my boo didnt have to protect me or give me a benadrly shot.

In conclusion our vacation to Ptown was a wonderful experience and the Oxford Guest House only made it an even more memorable trip.

We had an amazing time staying with Trevor and Stephen (and Potter) at the Oxford Guesthouse. My girlfriend and I really needed a vacation away from our jobs in Boston and we were looking for a nice and quiet B&B. The Oxford fit the bill perfectly. We felt like we were staying with old friends who'd given us the run of their beautiful home. Our room, the Trinity Suite, was luxurious yet comfortable and I especially enjoyed the sunfilled mornings waking up in 480 thread count sheets. I also had some shoulder/back problems while were there, and Stephen was kind enough to make me an appointment with their massage therapist. The DVD collection and high speed internet are alsp a definite plus! We were there in spring, so it was very quiet and relaxing, but I have a feeling that the Oxford maintains the same feeling even in the middle of July. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible!!

We spent 4 wonderful days in Cape Cod and The Oxford Guesthouse has certainly contributed to our pleasant stay.
We really enjoyed the home-made breakfast, afternoon snacks and wine, relaxing ambiance and the decoration of the Guesthouse. The owners are very nice, friendly and easy-going. And they also have one of the cutest golden retriver's too!
I will definately suggest the Oxford to all of my friends who wish to go for a vacation to Cape Cod.

Our first time to Provincetown to celebrate our 30th anniversary and after lots of searching came across The Oxford which stood out above the rest so booked the Trinity Suite. It was indeed a superb choice. We were picked up off the ferry from Boston by Carl and taken to The Oxford. Our room was glorious and felt like a home, not a hotel or B & B. The attention to detail and quality of offerings and care were sublime. We looked forward to breakfast daily for the food, coffee and conversation with other guests. Stephen, Trevor & Carl were so kind, made us so comfortable and were helpful with maps, suggestions, answering questions & even making reservations at restaurants. It was so quiet & relaxing watching movies, coming home from a long walk for a port or sherry in the afternoon, enjoying the garden and loving Potter. We could not have been more comfortable during our six day stay. We will definately make another trip to Provincetown and will definately stay at The Oxford!

“A fantastic place to stay”

Oxford Guest House

May 29, 2008

I stayed at The Oxford back in April. It was such a lovely place. The rooms were romantic, beautifully designed and elegant. Although the bathroom was small it was clean. The little touches about this place are what makes it perfect - chocolates and water in room, bath robes, glass of wine in the evening, home made cookies in the afternoon etc. It was a home away from home.
Trevor and Stephen were so welcoming and were on hand to suggest places to eat, places to visit etc.
I would recommend this guest house to anyone who wants a relaxing environment to stay in whilst on Cape Cod.
