This restaurant opened recently under new ownership. It is a charming location, especially the alcove private dining room that seats 8 easily. The waitstaff, two sisters, is particularly welcoming and professional. We were a party of eight and each course was better than the one before. The appetizers were inventive and unusual, including a brie with mango sauce, served with fresh, ripe fruit. The salads were fresh and unusual, incorporating fresh figs with a wonderful selection of greens and balsamic vinegar. Our main selections were wonderful, especially the NY sirloin and the pasta selection. The desserts...to die for. We will definitely make Chestnuts a regular stop. AND entertainment - a wonderful guitar duo who was joined by a wonderful vocalist, Karen. I definitely recommend it!!
