Very nice, very clean, great breakfast, location, and staff! Came back to warm chocolate chip cookies waiting for us one night! I would recommend this hotel.

What can I say, I travel 200 days out of the year for both business and pleasure and I can tell you without a doubt this hotel has the most under trained staff of any Holiday Inn or hotel I have ever stayed at. Simple questions could not be answered, complaints not resolved, and generally they were non-responsive. I went down to the front desk to ask a question, the girl turned her back and walked to the back room, she did not say, one second, let me check on that, she just walked away. I stood for about three minutes and thought she actually went on break so I started ringing the bell; she stuck her head out and said I am trying to get your answer.

The room was completely inadequate for the price, $249 per night during peak season. It was small, dirty, and it was 75 degrees, perfect to open the windows and let fresh air in, but there were not any screens, so either deal with bugs coming in, or close the window. Then every baseball team in the country decided to stay there so you have 8 to 15 year old kids running up and down the hallways the entire time we were in our room.

At that point we decided not to stay there, told the front desk manager the room was unacceptable, to which he replied, I don't care, you are going to pay for it anyway, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. I explained I was not cancelling, I was not accepting his room based on the window, the kids, and the overall aspect of the room. He then explained to me that the kids paid for their room, they have the right to basically do what they want. He said he would not refund my room charge, so my wife and I left, we disputed the charges with AMEX and called Priority club and got the charges reversed. We went and stayed at Otesaga Hotel which was much more up our alley, quiet, quaint, and best of all no kids running up and down the hallway and for everything that the Otesaga has to offer it cost only $30 more per night.

I do not recommend this hotel unless you are traveling with a baseball team or children, and don't expect any help from the staff.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Cooperstown for one night in July. The hotel met or exceeded my expectations in all areas. Service was great and the room was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with not only the standard linens and toiletries but also plenty of cups, bowls, and utensils.

The room was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, DVD/VHS player, free internet, and had a very spacious work area. The continental breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and was well-stocked.

Make no mistake, they charge a premium room rate at this property, but they also deliver on all counts. Certainly a worthwhile stay, especially when traveling with family.

This hotel is about three miles from the Baseball Hall of Fame, but well worth the drive. It was very clean and well kept. The bathroom was spotless. The room was very well sized for a family of four (with two teen sons). There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room, which comes in handy for late night snacks and breakfast foods. The television was a nice size for the room, with lots of cable choices. The pool was above average size, with a hot tub available. Small fitness room, however. The staff was terrific and very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked, with four kinds of cereals, bagels, muffins, fruits, oatmeal, yogurt, and lots of hot, good coffee in a centrally located, comfortable room with a flat screen tv. I would definitely go back to this hotel!@
