We stayed in October during the playoffs. You could not ask for a better place to go and relax after spending all day in Cooperstown. Just minutes from town, but it seems like you are miles away from the hustle of the town. The Woodside room was beautiful and well furnished. The deck was a perfect place to sit and relax with a cup of a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Brigitte was a wonderful host and made our stay quite enjoyable.

What a find in the breathtaking mountains of Cooperstown! Diastole is roomy, airy, and full of charm and calm. The rooms are appointed with exquisite furnishings and are so comfy! Brigitte and Lou make your stay complete. They are so knowledgeable and helpful in planning your visit, but respect your privacy. Their B&B allows complete indulgence. The experience lives up to the name....calming to the heart! The view from the back deck and hot tub area is prime National Geographic Photo...gorgeous! Cooperstown and surrounding sites are easily accessible. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely go back!

Owner threw a noisy, 3-hour party for friends while we were there. Breakfast was self serve. Best option was cold cereal. Hospitality left a lot to be desired.
