This was a terrible choice for our recent 2-night stay in Cooperstown. The website looked ok and price was reasonable (approx. $160/night) for the time of year, so we booked it. Big mistake! The room had a very unpleasant order, everything was old and not well maintained at all, there were stains in bathroom sink, rug was very old and gross, shower was in bad shape, etc. There are NO amenities: no blow dryer, no iron, no tissues, no telephone, no coffee maker. It was really awful and I certainly would not recommend to anyone. Had we known the condition of the motel, we would definitely have put more effort into finding available rooms elsewhere in the village. In fact, we would have happily paid more to stay somewhere else (a B&B, Holiday Inn Express) etc. Screen door to our room was broken and it slammed shut - loudly! - every time we used it. For what we paid, we feel really ripped off. Our advice: keep looking!!
