The hotel was spotless, great decor, and friendly staff. I stayed for 3 nights and was impressed by most things. It was out of my budget range but I splurged and overall it was worth it.
I found parking was very expensive. I drove around the block 3 times before I realized there was a section of a parkade for the hotel. From what I could tell, there wasn't any other option for parking in that area. You could do the valet parking for a few dollars more than what it would cost to park your car in the parkade. I should have done this because you get in and out as many times as you want, whereas the other option is to pay each time you leave the parkade.... by the end of the weekend, that ended up costing me more.
You couldn't really hear outside noise however the actual hotel room doors SLAMMED shut. They are heavy and you can literally FEEL when someone's doors shut if their room is near yours. Not the greatest thing to wake up to throughout the night. However, the bed made up for that as it was very comfortable.
Didn't have much of a view as we were on the 26th floor and facing west. We didn't spend much time in the hotel room so it did not matter. If you're looking for a view, you're going to have to go to higher floors and find out which direction the room faces.
The area is where you can walk to almost everything in the downtown core. The walk to the Pike Place Market was very nice however there are many pan-handlers throughout the whole downtown core. Unfortunately you will find that no matter where you stay.
