I HIGHLY recommend seeing the sunrise atop Haleakala. You have to get up super early (around 3:00 am) to get up there in time, and it's very cold, but it's completely and totally worth it. Make sure...more

We only hiked to one area and were amazed by the beauty. We swam in 2 waterfall pools along the Hana Highway and the Ohe'o Gulch was our favorite by far. The water was a bit warmer than other pools....more
