Stayed as part of a group. Has not seen much CAPEX since it was developed and seems very much in a time warp. It seemed very expensive for what it was. In UK terms, the hotel is 4* at a big stretch, more a 3*, but it is very tired around the edges... The room had stained wallpaper, thin carpets and a lumpy bed (but lovely clean sheets and duvet).
Odd things like, why were there no elevators ever ready on the ground floor?
Steam room out of order all week. No alcohol served in lobby after 12- but it was in the noisy club on 3rd floor.
For business/basic sightseeing it was fine. For a romantic trip to Hanoi... no chance!More
